The project funded by EU consists institutional, technical and financial development/strengthening for the Water Utility Department (WUD) and Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of Niksar Municipality along with capacity building of Municipality personnel to enable the implementation of planned projects. The project is composed of two lots as being ‘Lot-1 WWTP (FIDIC Yellow Book)’ and ‘Lot-2 Water Supply and Wastewater Collection (FIDIC Red Book)’.

We provide technical services for;
• Technical assistance to the WUD and PIU in performance of leakage detection and Non-Revenue Water Reduction Programme,
• Preparation of Sludge Management Plan to assess the final usage alternatives of the sludge produced at the WWTP,
• Complete engineering design for WWTP,
• Construction of 11,132 m3/d average flow rate capacity WWTP,
• Training, operation and maintenance,
• 55 km water transmission lines, 2 Spring Catchment chambers
• 3 Collecting chambers for the water sources, 4 new water reservoirs (500 m3, 1000 m3, 1500 m3 and 5000 m3),
• 2 new water pumping stations and 6.5 km forced mains and rehab. of 1 water pumping station,
• 725 m Service roads,
• 963 m creek crossing structure and 15 m highway horizontal drilling and 300 m creek and canal crossing by hanging pipe on bridge
• Rehabilitation of 3 existing water reservoirs,
• 85 km of sewer mains and supply, 32 km wastewater house connection pipes and 4518 parcel manholes and 2259 manholes,
• Installation of automation system for water distribution & existing pumping stations.
